Hydrant testing for 2008 has ended

If anyone notices a hydrant with a problem,

Call the Fire Dept. or City Utilities

to report the problem. 

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
April 30,2008

Starting on May 7, 2008, the CORBIN FIRE DEPARTMENT will began their annual maintenance and testing of the fire hydrants within the city limits of CORBIN.

The fire department will begin their testing on the East side of town.

During this time period, water users may experience low water pressures for short periods of time and/or have discolored water.

HOWEVER, THE WATER WILL BE SAFE TO DRINK.
All users are encouraged to check the color of their water before washing clothes. Discolored water may stain white clothes.

Testing and maintenance will continue until all the hydrants are completed. If any questions please contact the Corbin Fire Department at 528-2411
