ORDINANCE N0. 7-91

AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING AND BANNING ALL OPEN BURNING WITHIN THE CITY OF CORBIN, KENTUCKY AND PROVIDING FOR A PERMIT TO CONDUCT OPEN BURNING AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES OF VIOLATION OF ORDINANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Corbin, Kentucky, as follows:

SECTION 1. No individual or entity shall cause of permit open burning of any material in the City of Corbin, Kentucky without first obtaining a written permit from the fire chief and said Permit may be denied by the fire chief or said permit may contain specific conditions upon which open burning may be allowed in the city.

SECTION 2. All individuals or entities in violation of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $50.00 nor more than $500.00 for each violation.

SECTION 3. This ordinance may be enforced by Whitley and/or Knox District Courts.

SECTION 4. All Ordinances in conflict hereof are hereby repealed.
